Great place to go before or after the theater........before seeing Mary Poppins my daughter and I popped into Pizano's for a quick bite......tortellini soup and bruchetta was our order. Pizano's thin crust pizza is very good. It claims to be #1 in the city and after having dinner there, there is some truth behind it! The butter crust is delicious and the pizza had plenty of cheese and toppings. Overall, we thought it was good (maybe not the best thin crust in Chicago) but definitely worth another trip! more

My family really hyped up our visit to Pizano's after traveling 2 hrs from South Bend to Chicago. However, I couldn't help but leave somewhat dissapointed. After many trips to Chicago I had yet to experience deep dish pizza. We were recommended Pizano's by family living in Chicago and we were not disappointed. wow. waited 1 hour to sit despite 1/2 tables being empty on sat night. ran out of bread. pasta dish took 1 hour. wait staff didnt seem to realize this was ridiculous. more

Best Pizza ! Best atmosphere ! Best staff ! This is only my second time in Chicago, but my friends and I feel like we are 'regulars' at this place. We actually ate there EVERY day of our 3 day stay. Just came back from Chicago. Wanted to try to famous deep dish pizza. The concierge at the hotel recommended this place. We had the worst service ever!!! Waiter was easily flustered, did not understand requests, and took 5 tries to get out order right. Never even got a refill on water! Will never go back to that restaurant. It left... more
