We really enjoyed our late breakfast at Yolk. We went during the work week during the lull between breakfast and lunch so noise or a crowd was not an issue. The food was amazing - a great mix of traditional favorites (french toast, ommelettes), but some great things added like crepes and french toast made from cinnamon rolls! My only complaint was the noise - it was packed in there (for good reason!) and with high ceilings, the sound was pretty loud. more

We got a recommendation from a friend and Chicago native that this was a great breakfast spot, so we made the trek from our hotel on Randolph. After walking 14 blocks, we arrived to a 45 minute wait! The food at this establishment is excellent. The portions are very generous and they don't skimp on the quantity or quality of ingredients. The service was also excellent. We will definitely go back again and again and again. more
