There are two things that New York has that are better than in Chicago: Delis and Bagels. Manny's is the only place that can compete in the deli area. The Pastrami and Matzo ball soup would make any New Yorker feel at home. more

A Chicago staple. It's on the South Side and doesn't look like much, but they have THE best pecan pie and sandwiches anywhere. Great place to people watch too. more
