The drinks at Violet Hour are really incomparable. My favorite is the Dark & Stormy, made with fresh squeezed ginger juice and dark rum, along with about 10 other things. Great concept! Good drinks. But be prepared to wait for those drinks, they all take awhile to make and bring your wallet. Not a place to meet new people (seating room only) but great for a intimate date. more

what an amazing concept. i love this bar. they have the best drinks- creative and tasty! $11 per drink (not bad for chicago) and it is worth every penny. i always take out of town guests there now. love it!!! more
