If you enjoy decor and history - great place. However do not be fooled by the "traditional"cookbook or claims about "specialties" - they are false claims. The pot roast and the saurbratten are basically the same - pre-sliced commercial "roast beast" mashed potaos and run of the mill veggies with different gravies - pathetic really. Reminded me of dormatory food... more

it's actually spelled berghoff and they make their own chips. awesome beer and really good roast beef sandwiches more
