We ate there 3 days ago (Sept 6th) and all weekend while we were in Chicago, the lines at Ginos East were out the door. Why? The crust was dry as chalk and had no seasoning whatsoever. The toppings were good but Ginos was very disappointing. more

Although it's almost a hour's wait for your pizza, Chicago deep dish style, it's well worth the wait, it was little pricey and the Waiter messed up our order, but it was still worth it, Don't eat here if you can't wait, the place is almost always packed and the food does take awhile. I like the Atmosphere of the... more

Ate here in July. Waited for about 45 minutes for a table on a Sunday night. Waited another 45 minutes for the pizza to come out. The pizza was amazing, unlike any other Chicago-style pizza I have ever had. We ate at Pizzeria Due later in the week.It was delicious also, but Gino's is the one I would go back... more

We tried Gino's while we were in Chicago. We tried it because we had heard that Gino's was the best and we had to try deep dish. Luckily we acquired a priority seating pass from our hotel and were seated within 20 minutes, otherwise we would have waited for over an hour to get seated. The pizza was ok but... more

We knew going into the Chicago pizza scene that we would be waiting a long time for the deep dish. We didn't wait long for a table and we got our pizza in a relatively short time, but it wasn't worth the wait. One of the guys in the group ate at another place downtown and he preferred it to... more

Since they reopened this original location, it's lost the personality of it's predecessor. This was my destination for Chicago Pizza when I use to come here as a tourist and remains my first choice for taking out-of-town guests who want to have Chicago Pizza. The other location in downtown seems to have alleviated the wait times, which is good --... more

Everything was great.....except the pizza. For our party's tastes, (there were 8 of us), it just wasn't very good. I suppose we were all expecting more cheese? The sauce was very flavorful and the ingredients seemed really fresh. The crust was odd, kind of like cornbread, and just not enough cheese. However, the staff couldn't have been better and the... more
