My wife and I recently visited Chicago and stayed at the Sofitel which is at the other end of the block. If you are staying on the Magnificent Mile and don't want to pay for an expensive hotel breakfast, try Tempo Cafe, 6 E Chestnut St. We were staying at The Conrad and I walked to Tempo for carryout. I ordered waffles w/strawberries, 3 eggs with bacon, hashbrown, toast, and 2 freshly squeezed orange juices. Total for this was $26. Everything... more
