Before you purchase anything from Restaurant.com, make sure that you will be able to use it. I think a lot of them are not valid on Friday or Saturday. It also looks like a lot of them are out of stock.

Also, you'll need to note that some of these coupons cannot be used for lunches, breakfasts, buffets or brunches or in conjunction with other promotions (such as the prix-fixe options, special menus and the like). There may be minimum amounts of *food* purchase (usually $35-50+ for the better places) or you must have a certain number in your party and so forth. Usually the customer has to pay the tax on the entire amount of the meal before the coupon is applied, and since Chicago has the highest tax rate in the country, that does add up.

Lastly, in some cases there are specified amounts of gratuity to be included (18%+) - of course, if you have a larger party (6 or more), it may be even a higher percentage than that.
