I love the structure of the Planetarium. It gave an ancient feel to it with the rusted copper look. It's located along Lake Michigan and provided a beautiful view of the city and the lake.
The exhibits are disappointing though. They are nothing more than photos, pictures, texts hanging on the walls. There are some hands-on exhibits but very minimal. The only exhibit close to being cool would be the real-time image of the sun transpose onto a round board and safe for the human eye.
The BIG thing of the Planetarium would actually be the shows/movies screening there. Each show is $7 and even the one within the turning sphere is $3.
Glad we got in free as we are members of other Science Centers. It would not be worth the admission fee to just look at exhibits which I can view on the Internet.
