My wife and I were on vacation in chicago not to long ago. We went to this zoo, Wow very old school, zoo was clean and nice animals looked good, staff was very nice and it was free.

In town for a medical conference and brought my family. Went to Lincoln Park Zoo one afternoon and my kids (5G and 3B loved it). Like others said, better than most that charged admission. Lincoln Park is quite a charming area and I would highly recommend this visit if you had children. It was a <$10 cab ride.

This zoo is a gem in the middle of the city. What a nice way to spend the afternoon. Not much for teens to do but everyone else seemed to enjoy it.

We traveled over 4 hours to come to the Lincoln Park zoo; it was well worth our time. We have 2 children ages 3 and 6 this was the reason we came to the zoo. Our children had a blast. There are so many different type of animals at this zoo, you can spend hours here and not get bored. First of all the zoo is free to get in, that was awesome, it gives you extra money to spend on food and other things at the zoo. You do have to pay for parking but that was fine with us, the parking is very cheap if you stay at the zoo between 1-3 hours the parking fee is only $14.00.

You don’t have to worry about where to eat lunch while you are at the zoo because they have plenty of different restaurants just pick your choice of food.

Over all this zoo was very nice for our family and I will return again in the future.
