Stayed for three nights at the Chicago Omni. Overall it was a nice hotel. The location was great, right in the heart of the Magnificent Mile, and the staff was very nice. The hotel had a nice workout facility, a lap pool and small hot tub (3 people max). Everything was kept clean. The room had two TVs, one a flat screen. There wasn't a door between the bedroom and sitting area, so when you would change the channel on one TV the other would sometimes change too. You had to be careful where you aimed the remote. The room had a large walk in shower with multiple jets. There was no bathtub. There wasn't much room in the closet, at all. The rod was very low and the safe took up most of the area. There were plenty of drawers though. The worst part of the hotel, unfortunately, is one of the most important things. The bed was just so uncomfortable. It was only a double in size, but that I could live with. The mattress was so hard and just not comfortable at all. This would be the only thing that might prevent me from staying at the Omni again.

A comfortable bed is such an important part of picking a hotel. All of our king, queen and double beds are Serta mattresses with double-sided Advance Comfort Quilt pillowtops and feature innerspring coils and perimeter edge foam. However we do understand that a bed can’t provide everyone with the same level of comfort. We do offer rollaway beds and sleeper sofas, but unfortunately we do not have alternative mattresses. We hope you will consider staying with us in the future and we will do everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

What a great hotel!! My husband and I came back the other day from a 3 night stay at the Omni and had a fantastic time. From the time we checked in until we left, the whole staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived early & were allowed to check right into our room. The room itself was very spacious and clean, and the location was perfect. A big shout out to the concierge Marcus who got us a reservation at an amazing restaurant, and also gave us directions to the Museum of Science & Industry (which was great) as well as Cellular Field for a ball game. Our trip was wonderful from start to finish. Don't forget to sign up for the guest rewards program, which gives you some nice perks. I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Chicago.

We appreciate the great review of the hotel. Marcus and the rest of the concierge and guest services staff do a wonderful job of making sure our guests are well taken care of. We’re glad they were able to set you up with reservations for dinner, a museum and a Sox game. We hope to see you back in Chicago very soon.

We stayed at the Omni just for one night for going to festivals around Chicago. We don't live very far from Chicago so we took an early train in and arrived at the hotel around 10:30 AM. We were planning on just having our luggage stored so we could right away head out but the front desk rep asked if we were willing to wait just 5-10 minutes, we might be able to check in right away.

We decided to wait and it was really worth it. We were given a 20th story king suite with a nice view. He even apologized that a room wasn't ready immediately....we never expected to have a room that early so already we our expectations were met!

Room was very nice with a bedroom separate from the living area, wet bar and nice bathroom amenities. There was a coffee maker too but we are Omni Select members and they give you a request to complete for the morning and will bring coffee and juice to your room with a newspaper.

We headed out and about and returned tired and ready to rest at the end of the day. So, decided to order room service pretty late....10 PM. The operator said it would take roughly 45 minutes for the food, we weren't really happy but thought....we are late so we will wait. Roughly 25 minutes later we had our food. It was good too. Burgers but with fresh made salads that they specially made since we didn't want the options given on the menu. I like that the food is served on a rolling table too so you don't have to sit eating off a coffee table.

We had turn down service with Evian water delivered just prior to our room service.

Bed was really comfortable and I had requested extra foam pillows and they were waiting at our arrival. The next day we had breakfast in the 676 Restaurant. We just decided on the buffet and it was very good. Fresh fruits that actually not only looked good but tasted good....strawberries, melon, pineapple, etc. Waffles, fresh made omelets, cereals, bagels, etc. Price wasn't bad for Chicago either and I loved their giant coffee cups since we are big coffee drinkers.

Check out was easy...just dial a number and you are ready.

We would most definitely stay at the Omni again. Service was great, hotel has a very nice design. Fitness center was small but had options of equipment. I liked that they have a sun deck with a very nice view of the city. There is construction going on right next door but we never heard a thing in the hotel. Location is very good since it is right on Michigan Avenue in the middle of everything.

first i would like to state that we were at this hotel for two nights celebrating our 40th anniversary. check in was a breeze and after mentioning our anniversary we found a huge piece of delicious chocolate cake delivered to our room with "happy anniversary" written in chocolate syrup on the plate - a wonderful surprise! every time we returned to the hotel - valets, bellmen and desk personal on ground level said "welcome back" lots of smiles throughout the hotel. our corner room was small but very clean and linens were top notch as well as tolietries. we had a wonderful view of south michigan avenue. the rooms need to be redone as are experiencing a somewhat slightly worn look. loved the ameneties at the coffee bar and mini fridge in our room. the reception desk ran off directions for church, macy's marshall fields "walnut room" for lunch and directions to "taste of chicago" in grant park. the location of the hotel is great for walking anywhere! valet parking somewhat higher than normal.

We appreciate your review and we’re so glad you chose to stay with us for your 40th anniversary celebration. We are renovating the property as occupancy levels and time allow so please come back soon and see the progress we are making. Our parking is $49 per day with unlimited in and out privileges in a secure lot but there are other self park garages nearby that charge in the $30 range for 24 hour parking. We hope you will come back and stay with us for your next anniversary.

My wife and I travelled to Chicago and really were treated like royalty by the hotel staff! (My brother and his wife also stayed during this period.) The front desk staff, the concierge, the Star Bucks server, the restaurant, the lounge servers . . . all were wonderful! The rooms were spacious and the flat screen tv was really great! The bath room was a real plus ... it was huge and had everything one desires. Great view from 20th floor to Michigan Avenue below! Overall, great stay and highly recommended!
