My wife and I stayed here for a one-night getaway, and I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby, elevators and halls were smallish, as is to be expected from a boutique hotel that dates to the 1930's. They were nonetheless well-appointed. Check-in was smooth, the valet fast. The room itself was SWEET. It was a bit small, but well appointed too. Bed was perfect, the bathroom spotless and tastefully appointed, with higher-end guest toiletries. The only gripe would be that the walls seem a bit thin. Other than that, great stay, walking distance to the city's best restaurants and bars.
