Yes, this hotel has small rooms. But they are clean and nicely appointed. I can see if you're planning to stay more than a couple nights it might get claustrophobic and you may need more room to unpack, but if it's only one or two nights, I thought it was great. The room IS small, that's for sure, and the view we had left much to be desired, but we came downtown for a concert, not to sit in our room all night and stare out the window. The location was great, close to great shopping and several restaurants and within walking distance to The House of Blues, which is where our concert was. The room was very clean and the staff was quite pleasant. The only downside I can find is there is no parking lot specifically for the hotel, but that is not unusual for Chicago. There is a parking garage adjacent to the hotel which is pretty expensive. $34/night with no in or out privileges, or you can valet it for $45/night with in and out privileges. Everything was within walking distance for our purpose though so we just parked ourselves.
