Along with the ever popular Buckingham Fountain, visit this park to see Magda Abakanovich's sculpture Agora, a fascinating collection of torso-less pairs of legs joined at the waist. You will like it, hate it, be amused or find in spooky, but you are sure to have some reactions. This is a major permanent installation by a leading sculptor and a great addition to Chicago's top class (most extensive in the world) collection of free outdoor sculpture.

“Now, the underappreciated spot in Chicago”

For all the Millenium Park and Navy Pier hoopla, Grant Park is still a relatively reclusive spot in Chicago where you can enjoy a fountain, get a view of the Lake, a view of the City, and take a breath. Not something to go out of the way for, but it's a part of the full Chicago experience.

A beautiful outdoor area. Was slightly cold and would probably like it even more in summer when more people were out and the fountain was on. Huge park and lots to see and walk around, the Aquarium and Planatarium are here.
