this is a pretty nice venue. we were drawn to the sunday matinee because children get in free, (and they don't scowl when you bring in your 16 month old, they're actually very welcoming towards children at the matinee). the jazz was ok, not amazing. kind of felt like i was watching rehearsal, but when you're traveling with a toddler you take what you can get.
was take aback at the ticket price, twenty dollars at the door for an hour and a half show, and the drinks were expensive. they do claim to let you in to the later show for free if you want to come back, but children aren't allowed at the late shows (with good reason).
bottom line, cool thing to do with kids once, especially a music lover, but because of the price we probably wouldn't go back.
