I have called their sales department THREE times, and have gotten voice mail every time, and no return call, over a period of two weeks. I was hoping to stay in a Terrace suite, which I was told by reservations, (and the number was given to me by the reservationist,) have to be booked over the phone, not online. After three messages left, and no response, I can only assume they don't need my business. I'm surprised at such rude treatment at what I thought was a nice establishment.

My three sons and I decided to spend 2009 Easter weekend in Chicago and ended up at Conrad Hilton. Great price through Hotwire. The room was clean, big, quiet. The lobby was up a few floors (5?) and this made it very private. Small hotel, small bar area, one restaurant that I saw. Excellent location and connected by skyway/elevator to some seriously good shopping. I wish they would have had a computer available in lobby for confirming and printing airline departure tix. Coffee in the morning in the bar. If you want more, you can order it from adjoining restaurant.

The hotel room was elegant, quiet, and had a nice view. The location on the Miracle Mile near the Chicago River was perfect for shopping and dining. There was a Grand Lux 1 block away, and 2 Starbuck's within 100 yards. They had terrycloth robes in the rooms and a very spacious bathroom with separate shower and tub. The T.V. was a huge H.D. with a Bose sound system and was better than I have at home. The high-speed wireless connection in the room was the fastest I've ever seen. Another plus was that outside the hotel was a free trolley to the Navy Pier. The hotel was totally quiet, friendly, and I got a very good deal by paying in advance. I'll definitely be back.

we booked this as HiltonHonors (diamond) reward stay, and we were extremely pleasantly surprised that - because all executive rooms were booked - they double or triple upgraded us to the Presidential Suite !!! WOW. what a suite it was indeed. Location of hotel also excellent; lot's of stuff at walking distance. Parking indeed expensive, but it's expensive everywhere downtown chicago. Breakfast was - although the food itself was great - the only poor point of this hotel: it seemed disorganised and there was constantly a line of people "wating to be seated" although there were empty seats abundantly available; one person taking care of that and she did other things in between as well; also we had to wait like 20 minutes for our coffee and then it came twice; i.e. don't go for breakfast if you are in a hurry.
But again, this is truly a great hotel and next time we'll go there again, also as paying customer!
