The service and food has gotten progressively worse since Zapatista opened. My last and final visit was on Sunday, Feb. 24th. Customers had to wait 30 minutes because the hostess refused to seat people in another section of the restaurant. We sat in the bar area waiting to be seated. In the bar area the waiter refused to bring us chips and salsa with our drinks because according to him, this would require a walk to the other side of the restaurant. Once we finally were seated in the restaurant, the tacos and fajitas were terrible.

IWell I picked this place out of the blue for my Birthday meal. Guess I should stick to what I find on the net or in books. The service was prompt and friendly. The wine we decided on was a wonderful light, crisp chardonnay that I will never forget. Unfortunately I’ll not forget the food either. We opted to share the guacamole and each have a bowl of black bean soup. Both were over seasoned with sea salt. Waaay over… enough said.
