We have been staying in China Doll properties for more than two years now, three times in total, every time we visit Chicago. Apart from the homely atmosphere and extremely well run guest house that we learned to take for granted, Jim and Yanan endeavor to meet our every wish,however unusual. Well located and supplied, there is no better place to stay in Chicago.

“A true little gem”

Myself and 5 others stayed here on a recent shopping trip we comfortably fit in the apartment very comfy beds lots of clean linen and towels everything we needed for our stay. The apartment was well located around the corner you could grab a bus downtown for $2 we had a fantastic time. Every morning we had bagels and the most delicious muffins ever! All provided by chinadoll. There was also plenty of breakfast stuff which we didnt use as we ate out! I would reccommend anyone to stay in these apartments a gem in the heart of Chicago

We were so impressed with #3 on N Burling that we canceled a reservation we had over at the Blake to stay an additional three days. The neighborhood is great, the amenities (bagels, juice, milk, eggs, breakfast meats, cereal, etc.) completely surprised us. Having access to the laundry + all the toiletries, guidebooks, maps and food provided mean the next time I visit I'm only packing half of what I brought. Definitely recommend.

  • Liked — The amenities and the neighborhood.
  • Disliked — Creaky floor boards would have probably been annoying if we were on second level (but we were on the top level).
