We stayed at this brand new property over Memorial Day weekend for a great price of $189 a night, which was directly from the hotel website + taxes and $41per night to park. Our studio suite had a small but adequate kitchen, table for two, pull-out sofa and chair and flat screen TV. Nice shower and very comfortable bed. Every person we encountered was very professional and service-oriented. The hotel was within walking distance of Michigan Ave, Millenium Park and Navy Pier and many restaurants.
My only complaint: the breakfast area was very inadequate to handle the increased number of guests on a weekend. I overhead a manager say they were completely booked on the Saturday night we were there, and the following morning there was a line of 20-30 people trying to just get a glimpse of a muffin and the larger than average seating area was overflowing. The two people working could not keep the area stocked, although they gave it their best effort. I do not fault the people working there or the management, who were also working diligently themselves to clear tables, it is a very poorly designed serving area for hotel of this size. We did not have nearly as many problems on Monday, although still quite busy.
Otherwise, the hotel was perfect in every way, and I would stay there again, and just not bank on getting a free breakfast.
