Check in time is 4:30 pm we couldn't get into our room until after 8 pm. Our key from the lock box had been taken. They said they forgot to put it in the box?? People who live in the building told us that they have a lot of problems with the lock boxes. Pretty scary and we shouldn't have stayed there. The person who cares for the apt. happened to walk by us waiting to get in to the building. Otherwise I don't think we would have got in! We were late for the show we paid over $200 to see downtown. We were to have a king bed but we got 2 twin beds. The whole room was janky. Cold water really means hot etc. etc. The outlets weren't really put together well. There is a hole in the wall where the light switch sits. We had to put a towel over one spot in the floor b/c of a nail sticking out. When we were to check out the lock box was gone. All in all the place is misrepresented. We contacted Stan Properties and they don't care.
In short we won't be renting from Stan Properties again.

I am a student on a budget and I paid $85 per night for my 5 night stay at Pratt Shore. This summer I meet some other guys from Ireland and some Australian kids that rented a studio on the same floor at Pratt Shore. I had a blast!!!

The studios are small but clean. The staff at spsuites advised me that this is a "budget rental" and it is priced accordingly.

From reading the other reviews I conclude that some people have champagne taste and beer money...

Corporate website portrays these are "luxury" corporate condos with photographs to support; however this is a complete misrepresentation. The website requires a credit card to secure the reservation but charges immediately. The premises provided are unsanitary, there was a foul odor, the walls were covered with what appeared to be alcohol stains, and some smears on the wall were suspected to be feces. The loveseat was infested with bugs (possibly fleas), and basic things like bedding or were not provided.

I left immediately and checked into another hotel, but before doing so I took the opportunity to take photos to document the misrepresentations in the hopes of having the charge to my credit card reversed. I was unsuccessful so be forewarned.

My stay at this place was a total disaster. I realized when booking it that the property was an old apartment building, and that was fine with me. According to Stan Properties, the units had been rehabbed recently.

Because there is no permanent on-site manager, arrangements must be made in advance to obtain the key. Everything they told me to do to get the key turned out to be inaccurate. As a result, I ended up having to stand outside the building for one hour in the darkening cold waiting for someone to show up and let me in. The next morning I discovered that the keys they gave me were still not correct and once again I was locked out.

The "rehabbed" unit, which was supposed to contain a kitchen, had a stove, refrigerator and sink each next to the other with absolutely no counter space whatsoever. Nor was there a table of any kind. There were dishes but no pots at all, except for a frying pan. And no dishwashing liquid. So when I bought take-out, I had to balance the food on my lap and use the floor as well, and was unable to wash the utensils.

The TV was broken. The refrigerator was dirty inside.

The windows faced the street, and the curtains on the bedroom windows were sheer.

There was no place to put a suitcase except on the floor and of course no kind of dresser.

There was no lamp in the bedroom, just overhead lighting.

And best of all, I had to go out and buy my own toilet paper!

Find someplace else to stay.
