My friend and I were able to use some of my husband's accumulated Marriott points, and we were given a room with a terrific view of Chicago looking west. The hotel lobby, although incredibly noisy, was furnished with all manner of couches and tables (decorated in sort of a 1960's theme). It was obvious that many hotel guests were attending one convention or another as we saw many people working on computers in the lobby. The breakfast was the usual Marriott buffett, with plenty of the typical breakfast choices. Waffles were made to order and brought to the table, and even boiled eggs were available on the buffett table. The waiters were fast and friendly as were all the staff we encountered at the Marriott. My conly complaint would be that the elevators took two or three minutes, but this was a minor irritation.
