Great location, very clean, and helpful staff. What more can I say?

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The view was excellent and the location was right in the thick of Chicago! Rooms were large and comfortable. Free wireless internet. The only down side was parking at the hotel was $43/night! We ended up parking about three blocks away at Millennium Park garage for $25/night. Chicago traffic was bad, so if you are going to stay downtown, don't even bother with a car. This hotel was within walking distance to just about everything!

After reading reviews on this site, I was curious to see the elevators in action but they took us to the 33rd floor (and back) in no time, all the time. Awesome view, friendly staff. There was no safe in the room, but at the front desk. I'd like them to start with the policy of only renewing towels that are put on the floor to offer choice. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it. After all, design is in the eye of the beholder.

We just had a girls weekend in Chicago March 20-22 and we stayed at Hotel 71. The location on East Wacker was perfect for shopping on Michigan Avenue and State Street. The rooms were huge and the views of the river were unbelievable. We had three rooms and the hotel accommodated us by giving us an adjoining room and another room next door on the 29th floor. We got a great rate from easyclickttravel.com of $134 a night and for that price it was a steal!
