Booked this Hotel through Traveleocity. for myself and a colleague for a two night stay in Chicago. Paid around $225 a night. I booked the hotel after reviewing all hotels in downtown Chicago in the same price range and with similar amenities. I wish I had booked one of the other hotels. Upon arrival at this hotel, we were greeted by a hotel desk clerk that was non-verbal to say the least. I had paid in advance for 2 double double rooms. When we got to the rooms neither of the rooms was a double double. They were however the smallest kings in the hotel-(you could tell by the floor maps on the door). So, they had generously given us the worst rooms in the hotel. But we did not complain. It was getting late so we decided to stay in and order something to eat. When we called downstairs we were told they did not have a restaurant and did not have room service. OK, we went out to eat. The next morning my colleague and I were awoken by houskeeping in the hallway steam cleaning the floor--the only way to describe the odor was "sewage". The whole floor stunk. And lastly, tthe business center was unmanned and charged for everything, from looking at email, to any copies. We paid $7 for per 15 minute session and $4 for 8 pages printed.
I never write reviews of hotels, but felt that I should for this one. I have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels. This hotel, due to the treatment of a pre-paid travelocity customer, and the extreme lack of services and amenities is realistically a 3 star or lower. The hotel website is very attractive, but deceiving.
