I have stayed at the Majestic for a couple of times during tha last ten years. Very nice neighborhood, and it by now feel like home away from home. But the rooms have very different quality (avoid rooms near the elevator!), the breakfast has deteriorated during the years (alsthough it was always plastic). The bathrooms are mostly ok, the toiletries supplied are excellent, the parlour where tea and breakfast are supplied is a nice cozy reading room (for those who need this in Chicago). Very friendly, helpful an knowledgable staff.
