My girlfriends and I decided on a last minute trip to Chicago to celebrate her stag. I've booked Seneca through Cheaptickets.com at 129/night USD. It was very cheap price, since there were 5 of us. When we got to the Hotel the room I booked could only sleep 4 people, but then I only booked for 4 (one of the girls came with us last minute). I've asked at the front desk (Matias, very nice Polish gentleman) if we could change the room and get an extra bed. They gave us a Deluxe Room with kitchen at no charge. I thought it was very nice of them, since it's all last minute. There were some women complaining at the front desk, they ordered a Deluxe Room over the phone for 5 and got a very small room. I figure there is no point in flipping out at the reception staff, since they are in no control of what the reservations are doing.
Ok, so here it is. The rooms are small, since the Hotel is older and was build in the 20's. Also, the rooms are not Trump Tower rooms, since the price you pay for it is not over $300. The washroom is small, but it is somewhat clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely come back with my husband and kids in the summer.
Ohh btw, Chicago is called the windy city for a reason. It's cold and windy, the time of the year we chouse totally wasn't the best. If I come back it will be in the summer..lol
Hotel location is perfect, if you are not in Chicago to shop for bargains. There is lots of Resto's around, lots of Starbucks places and a grocery store down the street.
Be very careful of the taxi drivers, they try to take you on a scenic route.
