My fiancee and I were looking so forward to this trip , but were sadly disappointed.
We were greeted with rotting food in the refrigerator. We called down to the front desk and they sent up a maintenance person, who cleaned out the refrigerator, and sprayed what appeared to be Febreze. No offer of a new room whatsoever. No apology. We settled in and realized there was no hairdryer.
Our problems seemed to be over until we were greeted at 3 a.m. with the smell of cigarette smoke in our bathroom and hotel room. Regardless if it was a smoking floor or not, we were not notified. Other guests on the floor clearly took "smoking floor" literally and two afternoons in a row, the smell of marijuana smoke poured into our room.

Great location. The rooms are small and the hotel itself is stylishly decorated. There are some cleanliness and room maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Overall I was satisfied and would stay here again.

We stayed for a weekend in June and the location was great, but the hotel is clearly taking advantage of its location to offer less. The rates are similar to other loop locations. The carpet in our room was filthy, and no, dim lighting will not mask it! The room was slightly larger than the queen size bed. There was room for a small desk, but not much more. And the temperature outside was about 85 and it was rainy, and it felt about like that in our room. I think the thermostat is for a placebo effect. You really do need some cool, dry air to combat the humidity, and it was not there. So all in all, I'd stay somewhere else. We paid $51 for parking each night, you could stay somewhere else and take cabs for that money.

Stayed at this hotel on a recent business trip. Room was small but nice. Location was convenient to Michigan Ave shops and Rush Street restaurants. Staff was pleasant
