We called well in advance to request a room overlooking Wabash on the 7th or higher floor and also requested an early check in. When we got there we were told no early check in and they gave us a room overlooking the top of the building next store which was overgoing some kind of noisy construction. When we call the desk and asked to be moved we were told that they had no other rooms available as there was a convention going on and all the rooms had been reserved. We were attending this convention and had reserved a room?????
Teleprompter in room said free bottled was available in the room, when I called because no water was in the room they told me the service was no longer available.
The room was clean, the bathroom large. The hotel itself was somewhat dated but not upleasant.
The location was fantastic, just around the corner from the theater district, which is probably the only thing that would make me go back. There is a deli and small bar on the lower lever.
The bar is small and with very uncomfortable seating and windows looking out onto the street. Certainly not the type of lounge bar to relax in after a long day. The deli was nice.
There was a nice gas fireplace in the check in level, however the room was so dark it was hard to sit and read the newspaper.
Just o.k. with a good location.
