The Chicago Cubs are one of the city’s two Major League Baseball teams (the other being the Chicago White Sox)

            The team’s home stadium, Wrigley Field , was built in 1914 and is located in the Central Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago’s north side.  The team plays in the National League Central Division, and in 2005 finished fourth (missing the playoffs) with an overall losing record.  The regular season lasts from the beginning of April, and goes through the end of September.  Over this time, the team will play 162 games, half of which are at home, so there are many opportunities to catch a game in Chicago.  Many people living in the area would agree that summers are made for going to the ballpark to watch the Cubbies play.
